After years of waiting, Star Wars fans, geeks, nerds and most of all film lovers finally got their new sequel. Target, the second-largest discount retailer in the United States behind Walmart, got exclusive right to promote the Target brand with Star Wars. US agency Deutsch developed the Target Star Wars event; a series of events around the film release. On the event, the audience could get a Star Wars experience in many ways, each taking place in one of the “180 degrees domes” build for the event. One dome was equipped with a 180 degrees projection where the audience literally found themselves immersed in a stunning tailor made scene. They where flying amongst great Star Wars characters in the galaxy. My role? Firstly I gathered the team of top notch 3D artists and developed the storyline together with them, while finally producing it from A-Z on behalf of subcontractor Brandspanking.
Result? A big smile on my face and it’s visitors.
